Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform Pre-Shipment Inspection checks for all shipments per internal checklist.
- Train factory personnel to Perform Pre-Shipment Inspection checks for all shipments per internal checklist.
- Perform regular factory audits to monitor and measure conformance of the factories quality systems.
- Spot check quality characteristics of products at appropriate stages of product realization.
- Document and analyze the conformity of product to required specifications such as ASTM, EN/ISO and others.
- Cooperate with manufacturing partner to prevent non-conforming product and continuously improve processes.
- Support claim analysis and continuous improvement.
- Support TD / STIC team on new product testing and certification.
- Support supply chain on supply chain transparency and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Experience with Measuring and Testing Equipment.
- 5 years of Quality experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of ASTM and EN/ISO floor covering test methods and specifications is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings, product specifications, and other related documentation to product inspection.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university is preferred.
